New in town Daria meets a girl named Jane and they become friends. When Daria visits Jane for the first time she gets to know Janes brother Trent. He's kind of a slacker and playing in a rockband. Daria immediately has a crush on him.

Throughout some seasons of the series Daria is in love with Trent, but actually they never really get together. Trent likes Daria very much, but he maybe considers her to young for a relationship. And Daria never had the guts to tell Trent what she was feeling.

During the last seasons, Daria overcomes her crush on Trent. She realizes that he is to much of a slacker for her and isn't able to stick to any commitments. Finally they become good friends.
